International Grant Policy & Guidelines

The Walker Johnson & Nasia Legacy Foundation is committed to supporting qualified charitable programs and organizations in the United States and abroad, specifically Ghana, West Africa, where Nasia lived and served. Any grant given must advance WJ&N’s charitable purposes and must comply with various sanctions and best practices designed to prevent grants from being used to fund terrorism.

There are a lot of rules that go on behind the scenes as we determine if the abroad program and organization is compliant with the policies and procedures needed to making a grant possible for them. This is a private and confidential process.  Since The Walker Johnson and Nasia Legacy Foundation is a fund of United Charitable, International Grant submissions must also go through United Charitable and comply with certain rules. The International Policy link below will give you more information regarding how grants to charitable organizations outside of the United States are made.

We do not accept grant requests online or by mail. This process is by invitation only.

***The WJ&N Legacy Foundation will email you an International Charity Approval form if your organization is chosen to receive a Nasia Legacy International Health, Arts, Culture or Education Grant.
